Building Measured Surveys

We were commissioned by AtkinsRéalis, one of the world’s leading engineering and design consultancies, to provide comprehensive 3D laser scanning and measured survey services for a cluster of buildings and structures located in the Maqta Al Karama area of Abu Dhabi.

Scope of Work

The project area consisted of several multipurpose buildings in shell-and-core condition, which had remained abandoned for several years. Due to the lack of any existing engineering drawings or records from the owner, the site required complete and precise documentation to support upcoming rehabilitation and redevelopment efforts.

Our scope of work included:

• Conducting detailed 3D laser scanning of all buildings and external structures
• Capturing complete architectural, structural, and MEP conditions
• Processing the point cloud data to generate accurate as-built documentation
• Producing architectural, structural, and MEP drawings compliant with engineering standards

The result was a fully verified and reliable as-built dataset and documentation package, enabling the client to proceed confidently with planning, design, and future development strategies for the site.
