Museum interior

This project involved one of the newest museums developed in the region as part of a major government initiative. Our team was commissioned by the interior fit-out and exhibition content contractor to conduct comprehensive as-built 3D laser scanning and measured surveys. Based on the collected data, we produced accurate architectural as-built drawings to support the detailed design and installation of exhibition boards, display stands, and various museum feature elements. This precise documentation ensured seamless coordination and execution during the exhibition setup phase.
Scope of Work
Our scope required the rapid mobilisation of the survey team to perform the necessary measurements within a very limited timeframe. Due to ongoing construction activities and multiple stakeholders working simultaneously on-site, access and work windows were restricted, allowing little flexibility or opportunity for repetition. Despite these constraints, we completed the full 3D laser scanning of the designated areas over several days.
Following the fieldwork, all scan data was consolidated, processed, and aligned to create a unified point cloud. From this dataset, we extracted and produced detailed architectural as-built drawings in both DWG and PDF formats, ensuring accuracy and completeness for the subsequent exhibition design and installation stages.
